Job description

As a production leader in training at Nedlin Hospitality, you will lead the team leaders and production employees and report to the head of production. With your coaching leadership style, you ensure that production runs efficiently and smoothly. Are you an enthusiastic and open-minded person who sees opportunities and is eager to learn? Every day, the same clients, the same laundry, yet a different routine every day. Laundry always brings something new, and you will experience this as a Production leader. After a training period where you will further discover the laundry process, you will start directly in your leadership role. We offer you the opportunity to further develop as a leader through a customized development program, focusing on on-the-job development. Your tasks and responsibilities will gradually expand.


Here are some of your eventual tasks:

  • You are responsible for supervising approximately 20 employees.
  • You motivate, coach, and inspire the team to achieve the best results and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere.
  • You are continuously involved in the (further) development of your team.
  • You ensure that the right people are in the right place and monitor the progress of the work according to the production and staffing schedules.
  • You actively seek collaboration with other production managers, the technical department, and other colleagues to achieve results together and solve problems together.
  • You organize work meetings on the production floor and steer towards the desired results and objectives. We use the LEAN methodology for this.
  • You work according to fixed structures and follow agreed-upon work arrangements.
  • You contribute to improvement proposals and ensure their implementation.
  • You realize the production plan on a daily basis and at the machine level.

  • You have several years of experience as a supervisor in an operational environment.
  • You're adept with processes and enjoy learning new processes and skills.
  • You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • You have completed a vocational education (MBO level 4) or have a Bachelor's degree (HBO).

  • A salary that can amount up to €3.392 gross per month (based on 40 hours) depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • A familial and positive atmosphere: celebrating holidays together, receiving a Christmas package, an annual family day, and outings with our staff association.
  • A dynamic work environment with plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself as a leader.
  • You work from Monday to Friday in staggered shifts between 06:00 and 22:00, with corresponding allowances.
  • 25 vacation days (on a full-time basis).
  • 8.33% vacation pay and a fixed year-end bonus of 5.33% (in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Textile Care).
  • Good pension scheme through the industry pension fund MITT.

At Nedlin Hospitality, we wash and rent hotel linen such as bedding, towels, bathrobes, and tablecloths for large hotels, cruise ships, spas, and holiday parks in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Since the beginning of this year, our hospitality laundry has been expanded with a second hall.
